Registration for Open embrace 2012.

Open embrace, the tangomarathon of Tango Club Reykjavik, has become ever more popular over the past few years. This time Open embrace moves out of the city to Flúðir, approximately 1 hour's drive from Reykjavik. There we have a big room for dancing and summerhouses  for sleeping. All the rooms in the summerhouses are for two persons, some have a double bed and some have bunk beds. When registering for the marathon please indicate with whom you wish to share a room. Each house comes with an outdoor jacuzzi, or heitur pottur as we say in icelandic. It will be lovely to soak those tired feet in the warm water after long hours of dancing! Travelling to Flúðir will be by private cars. We will organize car pooling to make sure everyone gets to Flúðir.

Some meals are included in the participation fee: A light meal Friday evening (soup and bread), lunch and dinner on Saturday and brunch on Sunday. Coffee and fruit will be available at all times. There is no bar so feel free to bring beverages of your own choice.

Guest DJ of Open embrace 2012 is Birger Haugdal from Bergen, but Þórður and Kristinn will also lend a hand in the music department. The Bergen tango life has earned a reputation for the high quality of music at milongas. Birger was our guest at Tango on Iceland 2011 and we look forward to having him with us again.

Participation fee: 12.500 IKR for members of Tango Club Reykjavik, 14.500 IKR for non-members
