Tango introduction class

Tango Club Reykjavik offers introduction classes in argentine tango at Kaffitár, Bankastræti 8 every Wednesday.
The introduction classes are open for everyone who wants to try this popular dance form. You don’t need to bring a partner for these classes.
The classes run from 8 – 9 pm and everyone is welcome to stay on as the dancing continues until 11 pm.
Entrance 500 IKR.

Where is Kaffitár?

Every Wednesday evening the tables are pushed aside in this small café in Bankastræti and tango takes the floor. The dance space is not big, but the athmosphere is cozy and friendly. At Kaffitár they also sell very good coffee and cakes.

Kramhúsið by Bergstaðastræti is one of these secret houses in the centre of Reykjavik, causing surprise by being much larger on the inside than on the outside. Next to Bergstaðastræti 7 one goes through an alley leading to a terrace full of flowers and enters a little garden shed. This unassuming path leads to one of the best dance floors in town and Milonga “El Cramo”. Here you find tango dancers on all levels dancing and enjoying each others company.
